This lovely painting was first shown to me by a girl who lived on a sailboat and travelled the oceans of the world.  She visited these beautiful islands.

Most people want to tell a story, whether in paint, or music or dance, or words.  I love the painting of the people from Haiti.  They have inspired me.  One of my favourite books is by Seldon Rodman  and is called "Where Art is Joy".

I also enjoy looking at the watercolours of Henry Miller who, finding sleep elusive. took to doing wonderful narrative paintings at night.
